The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) has announced its 2025 work programme, setting out its key priorities for the remainder of the year.
On sustainable finance, IOSCO said it will continue to monitor the implementation of the ISSB standards and support capacity building for jurisdictions seeking to adopt or apply the sustainability standards.
It will also continue to engage with IESBA and the IAASB on their respective newly issued standards for assurance engagements on sustainability-related information.
IOSCO also said it will “conduct an assessment of the implementation of its recommendations on sustainability-related practices, policies, procedures and disclosures in asset management”.
