Accountants from older generations tend to be more hesitant than younger accountants as to whether the role of the profession should include covering sustainability matters, according to a survey of 173 accountants conducted by Kathleen M. Bakarich, Marissa Hoffmann, Amanda Sue Marcy and Patrick O'Brien at the American Accounting Association.
