The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published an opinion on the European Commission’s proposed amendments to the final draft of the Implementing Technical Standards (ITS), an ESG disclosure standard for banks.
EBA said it accepted the recommendations for practical amendments to ensure more proportionality but insists institutions should make every effort to disclose relevant information.
